Our Mission

BENATECH's mission is to serve our clients in the areas of leadership development and practical business solutions. Specifically, our mission is:

  • To help our clients grow effective leaders within their organizations through focused training programs and one-on-one coaching and counsel.

  • To serve as a confidential, trusted advisor to management on issues of leadership, management and human resources.

  • To help our clients meet the needs of their clients by serving as an interim manager to temporarily lead and manage projects and departments within our client's organization.

Company History

BENATECH is a leadership and management consulting firm serving clients in the United States and internationally. Founded in 1980, we have served more than 200 clients in the area of leadership and management development and as trusted advisors to the management of our client companies and organizations.

Focusing on practical business solutions, BENATECH does not employ programs based on the latest management "theory of the week" or "flavor of the month." Rather, we work closely with our clients to assess their needs, identify potential solutions for those needs, confirm these solutions with our clients and then implement them in partnership with our clients.

The result of this customer-focused approach to serving our clients is an impressive 97% repeat client ratio.

About Barry Benator

Barry BenatorBarry Benator is founder and president of BENATECH, INC., a leadership and management consulting and training firm serving clients throughout the U.S. and internationally. He has more than 20 years of consulting and training experience for corporate and governmental clients, and has taught leadership and management skills to more than 5,000 executives, managers, engineers, and others in leadership positions. His clients have included Cox Enterprises, Inc.; Equifax, Inc.; Viron Energy Services; American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers; Association of Energy Engineers; Florida Power & Light Company; Pacific Maritime Association; Jamaica Public Service Company; U.S. Department of Energy; U.S. Navy; more than 20 states and more than 100 other private sector and governmental clients throughout the U.S. and internationally.

In his training programs, Barry is skilled in translating proven leadership and management principles into real-world leadership tools and take-aways that leaders can take back to their job and use immediately. With an emphasis on practicality and usability, his programs focus on achieving strong bottom-line results for the organization. His presentation style is highly interactive, with participant involvement encouraged throughout his presentations. At the end of Barry's programs, his participants not only know what they need to do back on the job to be more effective, they also know how to do it.

As a leadership and management consultant, Barry is often brought in to build/rebuild teams, coach executives or turn around dysfunctional projects/departments. As a coach, Barry has demonstrated the consistent ability to help managers succeed as leaders in their organizations. Functional areas of expertise where he has helped his clients include project management, engineering, human resources, telecommunications, customer service and executive coaching and counseling. Once the basic mission has been achieved, he helps his client identify, interview and hire his replacement. He then coaches his replacement to ensure a successful transition.
